What is a ReStore?

ReStores help keep material out of the landfill by selling donated new and lightly used building products, household goods, outdoor furnishings and tools at significant savings. The proceeds from sales help provide long term sustainability and support Habitat for Humanity’s costs.

Items for sale include lighting, flooring, furniture, small and large appliances, antiques, housewares, construction materials such as lumber, tile, paint and hardware and fixtures such as kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, toilets, shower stalls and bathtubs.

Our inventory is 100% donated by businesses and individuals and is sold at greatly reduced prices to help reduce building and renovation costs for our customers.

Click the thumbnails above for larger images. The gallery images show the staff, volunteers, layout and typical items generally found at Grand Forks ReStore.

Additional display areas hold much more. We are grateful for the many individual and business donors who keep the store well stocked.

The specific items displayed are probably sold, but will be replaced with new items as they are received and processed.
